Ray Hartmann and Martin Duggan Team Up To Produce ‘Donnybrook – Heaven Edition’

Deceased Donnybrook provocateurs Martin Duggan and Ray Hartmann have joined forces once again to produce “Donnybrook-Heaven Edition”, featuring an all-star lineup of late St. Louis media figures.

The new show, whose format closely follows the earthly show by the same name,  also stars media legends like St Louis TV news pioneer Max Roby,  Post-Dispatch columnist Jerry Berger, KMOV-TV anchor/reporter Mary Phelan,  “Romper Room” hostess Miss Louise and Corky the Clown, portrayed by early TV newscaster Clif St. James.

“I warned Ray that adding Miss Louise and Corky the Clown would detract from the dignity of the show,” huffed Duggan. “But he thought it might help with the Boomer audience, many of whom are arriving every day. So he could be right, I guess.”

Hartmann is confident he has the right lineup.  “The format has been proven, we’re just taking it to the next ‘level’, if you will,” Hartmann quipped.

At publishing time, Duggan and Hartmann were arguing about the show’s lighting and whether the NFL should be allowed to add an expansion team to the heavenly realm.
